Downsized Dissension - A Poem based on Guerrilla Season

Thanks Victoria for this awesome poem based on the novel Guerrilla Season. Great job!

Downsized Dissension
By Victoria

Centered attention caught on those three,
Each carrying a haughty tone.
Hurled upon my tender emotion,
Then realizing, on my side, I was not alone.
Slipping into a dazed oblivion
Falling once more to the ground
Grasping for every ounce of strength
In my weakened pride I drowned.
Blood dripping from my face,
Ribs aching in profuse pain.
Gently chuckling off a thought;
Grimacing with obvious strain
Remembering how I was told to say, "Enough."
Knowing not of the benefit
Openly reassuring my wellness of my strength
Hoping they'll just simply forget.

Hi Victoria -

Really nice poem! It surely does show that you feel Matt's pain. I also agree with the comment about the excellent title. Great job!
