Hmm..that's difficult because there are so many amazing parts to this book! But if I had to pick a favorite part of Guerrilla Season I would probably say when Matt finds Mr. Stone's dead body. I liked this part because it was so descriptive and I could really see the picture in my mind!!

My favorite part of Guerrilla Season was when Matt's mom gets a letter back from her parents and she asks if anyone has something to say and Matt just lets loose! This was my favorite part because it just really interesting to see who wanted to leave and not.

I thought the best part of guerrilla season was when Matt went to Jesse's party. During this short time period Matt had alot of different feelings and mixed emotions. He felt joy because of susie and confusing because of Jesse. This part of the book was very sweet when he was with Susie

I thought that best part of the book was the part when Susie pushed Matt out of the tree because Matt likes Susie and was liking that he had her undivided attention and they having fun. Then Susie just pushed him out of the tree and everyone is now yelling at Susie and Matt dizzy. It was just really funny to read about something like that happening.

I thought the best part of the book was when Matt decided to leave for the North and he gave Jesse Salt. It showed that he really cared about Jesse but he didn't stay because then he would've become a bushwacker.

My favorite part of this story was right before Mr. Stone died, because you could begin to see some tensions developing between Matt and the other characters, such as Jesse, Mr. Stone, the provost marshal (Mr. Ford), and Susie.

My favorite part of Guerrilla season was when Matt falls out of the tree when Suzie is reading his palm. It stands out the most because Matt knows that Suzie cares about him but he still yells at the love of his life.

I agree with 'Anonymous said' and 'Anonymous said' In that when Matt comes across Mr. Stone's dead body. It was the most interesting part of the novel, and all the descriptive details used by Pat Hughes enabled me to really visualize this body and its surroundings.

Well, I would have to say my favorite part of Guerrilla Season would be when Matt and Betsy found Mr. Stone's dead body because the sentences describing the scene really showed me what Mr. Stone could have looked like when he lie in the ditch. Yes, it was a creepy image, but very descriptive.

One of my favorite parts in the book Guerrilla Season would have to be when Buck (Jesse's brother) came home from the war to check up on his family. I loved this part because I had no idea what was going to happen and I felt like I just had to keep reading! I think I would have been just as scared as Matt, and I think he did the right thing by leaving the situation. This part in the book really sparked my imagination, and i have enjoyed it ever sense.

The best part of this book is when he goes to the camp. His mind changes about staying in the south. He has to suffer, with limited food. It makes him think about how hard living in a military group is. He also sees new things.
